YOUTH
EXCHANGE IS THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME !
Rotary Youth Exchange gives your Rotary Club the opportunity to open the doors of the world for the young people in
your community.
No other educational program can duplicate the experience of a year in another
country. No other language program will lead to the level of proficiency
that comes from using a new language hour by hour, day by day, for an entire
year.
Rotary's Exchange Students learn about culture by being immersed in
it. And they learn about themselves in such a way that youth exchange is
frequently a milestone of decision and growth in their lives.
While they are learning, the people around them are learning too, because each Rotary
Exchange Student is also a young ambassador, sharing ideas and making friends in a distant part of the world.
Rotary Youth Exchange embodies the very essence of what Rotary is all about. It is an opportunity to make the world a better place by giving people from many cultures the chance to meet and know each other.
It is the experience of a lifetime.
If you are involved in Rotary in District 5080 and would like to be more
involved in Rotary Youth Exchange, as a host parent, as a Youth Exchange
Volunteer, or just as someone who wants to help in any capacity, I invite you
to send us a quick email. We promise to put you in touch with Rotarians in
your area who will help to get you started!
