DISTRICT 5080 INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP TOUR 2010
|
|
|
The
International Friendship Tour is an annual event organized by the
Youth Exchange Committee of Rotary
District 5080. All of the
inbound exchange students in District 5080 will travel through the
district accompanied by two chaperones.
During
the tour students will be hosted by the Rotary Clubs in the towns
that are visited. Lots of
exciting activities are planned! Some of the time the group
will stay together in a
school or church, and other times students will stay in
individual homes.
WHY
DOES ROTARY SPONSOR THE TOUR EACH YEAR?
 | To provide opportunities for
friendships between the residents of our district and the young people from
many countries who are living here as exchange students. |
 | To promote Rotary Youth Exchange.
|
 | To extend the Rotary spirit of
International friendship and understanding into the communities visited by
the tour. |

The purpose of the
International Friendship Tour is to promote… INTERNATIONAL
FRIENDSHIPS!
|
 |
The best way to promote
international friendship is for people from all over the world to meet
each other.
|
 |
That's what the tour is all
about…meeting people…. getting to know them, and them getting to
know you.
|
 |
So make an effort to meet
lots of people in the towns that you visit! |
 |
Be friendly!
And have a great time doing it! We want this to be a
highlight of your year in our district.
